The Castle Lodge (previously Castle Inn) has always been part of the village community. The opening of the Cwmcarn Forest Drive has made it the perfect stopping off point for visitors to the area – particularly those interested in exploring the mountain bike and walking trails. On the flat the canal offers extensive opportunities for walkers and joggers alike.
